Ah, but if i was to make a private 18+ chat room then in theory its a private room and moderators shouldn't be allowed to enforce chat rules in that room if the room created expresses that they can't.

There is nowhere a rule you cant make your own private room..... al you have to do is make 1 and invite ppl in

Iff you make this room and invite moderators in it... yes they have to moderate it .
And dont forget you CANT advertice this room in the chats cos then its no private room anymore.

same way as the game does for people 13+, if they accept they are stating they are 18+.

This isnt monitored but only a tick of a box to say otherwise, this is why we have moderators modding chat, but you want a 18+ chat room and this also cant be 100% monitored to be 18+ but you want it un moderated, so you back to square one like global with no mods.

well i have no idea what secret tools you are using to nab those that talk like they under 13, as i have only seen action taken when they make the mistake of stating their age.

I can only deal with it once i know there age, i cant prove otherwise, maybe someone will on my behalf drive to there homes and ask to see there birth certificates.

The way I look at it is the reason there are mods is to protect people from unwanted chat. (cursing, racist remarks, religious banter stuff like that)
We have had this issue some on server 3 where people want to talk with their friends and be raunchy and curse, tell ride jokes things like that. Our night crew especially feels the need to do this. So to do this they create a room and say something like who wanted to hear an offensive joke in global then invite those in who want to take part. This way no one is offended who doesn't want to be.

I think it would be quite fair for the adults to have an alternative to Global Chat. I'd be more than happy for moderators to use it as long as they didn't enforce the swearing rules. If people were to join this chat room then they would be agreeing that they are over the age of 18.

Its getting really old having to watch what I say in chat all the time. Pretty much every other game out there gives you the option to turn the chat swear filter on and off. I can't see why this game should be any different. I know this isn't going to happen anytime soon so why is it so much to ask for 1 room to be created for idiots like me who like to use foul language and have the banter.
